Vent at myself!!

Why am I so impatient and miserable today? It's only just gone 8am and I have already shouted at the kids a couple of times:mad: which makes me mad because I don't want to be such a miserable mum.
I know I need to get out with them to the park so they can run of some steam. But I can't get my !!!! of the sofa, get of mse and get a shower.

I feel the same, but that may be due to being woken up at 3am by my son wanting the internet turned on for 10 minutes so he could look at a gaming website. Then spent 90 minutes arguig with me as to why he should have it turned on, and not recognising that I need my sleep and so should he.

Finally being woken up by my two dogs wanting to go for a walk at 715am because that's the time we normally go out.

So yes, I feel the same as you and will remain a moody sod for the rest of the day.

Now just about to go and wake up my son, as he's had enough sleep for now, and why should he get a good nights sleep after waking the whole house last night?

    Thanks, I feel better now!

I was woken at 6am this morning which is usual for my 2. It's ok for the kids as they will catch up on their sleep during the day, which I can't do.
    Oh joys of motherhood.

Ergh I have days like that. I'm quite good at not shouting at them, but there are some days where we let ourselves go a bit.

Perhaps attend MSE Anonmous?? lol ;) (my spelling is baaaad)

Think positive, take them out, BREATHE and enjoy your time with the kids.
Just think of all those other parents who constantly shout and don't listen to their kids and who don't even THINK about doing something with their kids. Just leaving their kids on DS's/tv/xbox/PS3 etc etc etc while mummy/daddy is on the internet constantly. We're better than that :D

PLUS, a nice hot cuppa and a nice choccie sounds like a good idea! Infact, count down the hours until bed time and have a nice hot bath with a large wine :)
If you don't want to go out, then get them to bake a yummy cake :) Hmmmmm might be messy though which might mean more stress O_o

PS. My kids have a DS - I'm not complaining about kids on computers, just about parents using it as a babysitter :)
Infact, I'm not complaining :) I'm trying to make you happy.....not sure if I'm succeeding though?? :(

Cheers all, I did finally manage to get of the sofa, took them to sainsburys and got myself some double chocolate cookies  yum yum.
Then let them run riot in the garden whilst I enjoyed them with a cuppa. They are in bed now so free time for me now.:j
Tomorrow will be a better day.
