Royal Mail Complaints issue

Hello

I'm not sure if this is the right place but I know from previous reading that someone on here may know.

I've had a big problem with a dodgy Postperson. I made a complaint by phone - 30 days ago and have not had even an acknowledgement. I know I will pursue it further but don't have a name or address to send my problem to.

Broadly it is to do with a postperson climbing my back gate and leaving it unlocked. There's more - and it's creepy. I want it dealt with. The lovely CS lady said it would be passed on to the local Delivery Depot's head. I've heard nothing.

I want to take it a step higher. I have scans of the red card and can prove it happened.

So, who do I contact? Any help most gratefully received.

Thanks

    Hi

    Sorry for being vague.

The Postie left my parcel through the cat flap at the back of the house, red card said left in 'safe place' - I've never registered a safe place.

To know I have a cat flap they must have climbed over a 6ft gate just to check, as the cat flap is not visible from the back street or either neighbours' yard.

I live in the middle of a terrace. So all this involved finding I was not in, counting the houses and going round the back, climbing the gate to see if I have a cat flap, posting item through it, walking back around the block and writing the red card. Leaving the back gate which had been bolted twice, unlocked.

Hope this is a bit clearer. I had left my property relatively secure and came back to it open to anyone. Not best pleased. Also a bit freaked out at having someone mooching around my property and leaving it so anyone else could look in the windows etc.

It's been over 30 days since I complained and I have heard nothing back.

    Cheers

you realise the postie has gone above and beyond whats required of them?
there intentions would have been nothing but helpful
I would expect a manager to have a word with the postie but thats it
The DO manager would most likely clear the complaint as having been dealt with on the CLEO system
if you want a response then contact RM CS again and it will go through as a second complaint

Leaving a previously secured property with an unlocked gate.
    Very helpful indeed.

Just out of curiosity custardy, in your eyes, is it possible for a postie to ever do wrong?

I do indeed realise that climbing into the rear of property over a tall gate just in case I had a cat flap is above and beyond the call of duty. At least I'd hope so.

    Thanks for the advice.

If the postie got in, do you think it would be difficult for a scally? It was hardly secured was it if a working stiff could do it.
There is also no proof that the postman opened the gate in the first place. Just surmise. Unless you have cctv?
