Bargain_Mad wrote:Was just about to say the same. I've been hoarding my vouchers for a while now, terrified to use them in store because the deals are worth 4x more. But every time I check out the deals there's nothing I want to use the vouchers for. In the past three years, I have only converted £5 worth into Goldsmiths vouchers for an 18th birthday present, and that was only because I was skint at the time. Would have preferred to buy a more decent present, Goldsmiths are usually highly over-priced, IMO.
I emailed Tesco once, asking why they didn't have any decent retailers. I pointed out that with Sainsbury's loyalty cards you can use them at CD-WOW, Argos, Adams, etc. They never replied. Ok, I know that the mathematics are different, 1p for every pound spent with Nectar v 4p for every pound with ClubCard, but still... I've saved loads of money on stuff that I actually wanted to buy using my Nectar points. Have only saved £20 with ClubCard.
Have been trying to convince myself to use up all my vouchers on my Christmas grocery shop this year. Don't know if I'll be to go through with it though, it just feels so anti-MSE... :rotfl:
I felt the same, then I noticed people selling them on Ebay. You sell them with the understanding that you will order the deals o behalf of the buyer as they want then post them. I sold £69 worth of vouchers for £125 and changed them into £270 worth of MFI vouchers for my buyer. Everyone wins. I bought a mobile with the money for my daughter's Christmas present.0 -

was chuffed to bits because she really wanted that game so to get it thrown in was fantastic.

i have Zoo Tycoon DS...It's quite difficult controls wise, and it's really nothing different to the PC version, which is far easier to do.
The graphics are also quite tough to see, but overall it's a so-so game.0 -
used my clubcard vouchers and knocked off a further £10.00You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0

my ds was desperate for a dslite and zoo tycoon from Santa (he's 11 and humouring me). Santa is bringing this but he (ds) said tonight he may have changed his mind.... why can't we tell 11 year olds they're not allowed to do that?? And to be honest, now I've got it, I don't care if ZT is rubbish ....aaaaggghhhhhhh. He's also getting Pirates of the C (can't spell it!) game too (bought it as part of the deal from Virgin) so hopefully that will be ok!0
