Im currently with Sky and pay them for Phone, Broadband and TV. The broadband is unlimted so I pay £10 and the TV is £29.50.
My line rental is with BT an Im on the Unlimited Weekend Plan @ £13.60 a month plus £2.70 for caller display. I still have a Orchid dialler which I havn't programmed for ages but it still sends most of my calls via 18185.
My monthy charge for sky calls is around £3.50 and £16 for 18185
I must admit that Im a fan of Sky plus so would probably prefer to stay with Sky for TV?
Any thoughts?

Lots of deals around at the moment.
If you really want to take the change and willing to put up with non-uk call centres then you can get a good deal at the end the day.
I decided few years ago to look at which channels I watch on a regular basis and found that Freesat and the Internet gives me what I want so I ended the Sky contract.
You can get broadband at 24mbp (40 gig/month usage), free set up + modem and evening/weekend inclusive calls from TalkTalk, all for £3.49/month for the first year, It looks like you need to surrender your line rental to them but it is still cheaper at £12.30/month.
Caller display is similar money to what you pay now so all in all about £19/month.
If most of your 18185 is in the UK you can get all the time calls for £5/month from TT.
Some will warn against TT but this really depends on how long are your nerves
A freest box which you will be able to use with your Sky aerial is about £60.Five exclamation marks the sure sign of an insane mind!!!!!

Any thoughts?Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -

£16 per month for 18185 sounds an awful lot to me unless its mainly mobiles/international,as you pay Sky £3.50 already for calls why not take the Unlimited calls package at £5 instead and cut down landline calls made via 18185,if you do make international calls SKy have 20 countries included in the Unlimited pack
You could transfer line rental to Sky* @ £11.25 inc caller display though I don't like my line away from BT if ever I wish to change ISP
Or transfer to another BTWholsale supplier,I recommend IDNET @£12.75 Line and caller display where the line stays as a BT line only the billing is handled by IDNET.
*Don't think 18185 works on Sky line rental0 -
Thanks for all the great advice.__________________________________________________
