in Credit cards
Hello everyone,
New to the forum and have spent hours over the last few days reading up on lots of very helpful information
On Thursday last week I applied online for the MBNA platinum card (as I am after the SBT) but I have yet to receive any feedback from MBNA. Did not even get an email to confirm they had received my application - but they definitely have as I can see their credit search on Experian which was done last Friday, the day after I applied.
Can I assume that I have been rejected and they simply didn't bother to let me know?
Thanks in advance

You have either been declined or referred, probably you'll get a rejection letter in the next few days.
You can phone them and they'll tell you on the blower."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0 -
I applied 3 weeks ago, hadnt heard anything 2 weeks later, so rang them up the girl on the phone was so helpful just said they hadnt had a change to look at it so far as they'd been recieving so many applications, but she would be able to underwrite it on the phone if i could hold for 2 mins....which i done.....straight accept and my card arrived yesterday
