Our Samsung LCD Tv has given up the ghost today. Boooooooo
We are on an urgent look out for a new tv.
It will be used for watching tv, dvds (will be purchasing a blu ray in the near future), xbox 360 gaming, and watching cable HD channels.
we would like it be full HD have freeiview HD (incase we ever get rid of cable).
40" is the maximum size and we want all this for under £550 lol
I have no idea where to start. its so hard to choose these days. but what can people recommend. Many Thanks

I can highly recommend the Sony Bravia 40'' KDL-40EX503 LCD TV.
I bought mine from M&S just before Christmas for £649 (it was a deal of the day) - and then got the VAT back and some Quidco - taking it to just about your budget. All with a 5 year guarantee.
M&S are now doing it for £599 - still with the 5 year guarantee.
For that they also deliver it and set it up for free.
With Quidco you could get 3% cashback too.

tick the relevant boxes on the left and there are several within you budget, including the Sony referred to above at £549. Only downside is you'll probably have to pick it up, though at least you then get a chance to see it before final decision time...0
