issues in homebuyers report

what do you think of those:

walls are cavity block, built around 1950, recommended mundic test which came out fine

radon testing recommended -it says the minimum testing period is 3 months, I hoped to complete by Easter :(

it appears there are no documents about loft conversion ( about 20 years ago done) and conservatory ( 3 years ago done), how common is it not to have paperworks about building works done and does it justify price renegotiation in your opinion?

The word "dilemma" comes from Greek where "di" means two and "lemma" means premise. Refers usually to difficult choice between two undesirable options.
Often people seem to use this word mistakenly where "quandary" would fit better.

    I'm not sure if I can help with the other issues but AFAIK there's no planning permission needed on a conservatory (assuming it's a "standard" conservatory!) but if it was only built 3 years ago I'd expect the vendor to have some details about who built it (maybe even a guarantee?). If not, and there's nothing forthcoming from them about the loft conversion then I'd seriously consider walking away.

    It's in Cornwall I'm guessing (mundic was the clue; radon made me more sure). Radon is a tricky one. There was a report out this week about how many homes have it. It's a naturally occurring gas, that comes from granite. Do you know the geology of the specific area you're buying in? With Radon, it's possible to "fix" it simply by ensuring air bricks are kept well clear (maybe put in another 1-2) and install some under-floor fan system.... and that's in the odd chance it does have it.

    Tricky one really.
