Tiles purchased - reassurance needed

Ok, so bought these tiles yesterday from Topps Tiles, they are a ceramic tile that look like Travertine. We like the style but budget didn't allow the real thing.
However I was surprised at the rough texture to them, is this just because they weren't polished? Anyone have this type of tile installed? We're having them on the floor and walls and just concerned it might not feel nice walking on?
Can I seal them or something to change the feel perhaps?

If it's not too late to take them back then take a look at these:

I have the small matt ones on the floor and the large glazed one on the walls in my bathroom and I think they look great and are very smooth.
I don't know if you can seal the tiles with anything, but I wouldn't like rough tiles in my bathroom.0 -
maybe lay a few on the floor and see how they feel?0

Thanks - not sure if it's just getting used to the texture.
Obviously different to a cheap glazed tile....
We had Tesco Clubcard vouchers to spend there via the deals (exchanged last year at 4x) so prefer to stick with them if possible.

I bought loose Travertine tiles at the The Tile Depot for £25 per 2m and got 20% off. Check out my bathroom renovation thread as they are the 61x40.6 ones.
They do look good ;o)))0 -
Diable - thanks, had been looking at your photo's with interest actually. We're going for a similar look so useful.
What do those tiles feel like to touch? I need to stick with Topps Tiles unfortunately as have cashed in Tesco vouchers. Just wasn't exactly what I expected and not sure if that is just wrong expectations on my side.0 -
They feel "nice" but they need to be "sealed" I like the look of them.0
