Hi
Hope this is the right section, but i have just recieved an invoice from aberdeen city council for lifting carpet grippers after i had moved from my old house, we did think there might be some charges, but £480 for lifting grippers there must be something i can do as there is no way i can afford this and how can the amount be justified.
Regards Garry

Write to them to justify the cost. It does sound as though they are taking rise. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
