Guitar lessons - Pontypridd or Barry

Hi, can anyone recommend a cheap but good guitar teacher? My step son is in Pontypridd so that would be the preferred choice but he's down with us in Barry on weekends so we could manage a Fri/Sat there.

My son had lessons in Pontypridd from a boy called John Powell. Lessons were held in a room above the Christian Book Shop near the market on Saturdays but I know he also held lessons throughout the week in the YMCA. I can try and find out more information if you are interested as i think my son still talks to him on facebook.

Thanks needaholiday, if you could get a phone no/email then I would be grateful. From what I gather he may now get free guitar lessons in school because of GCSE year, but if that doesn't pan out it's good to have a recommendation. Cheers!
