Hi, just posted this on the bankruptcy board but then thought this board may be helpful too!
I'm hoping to go into a Scottish DAS or DMP, currently we have a joint a/c with RBS which we need to leave. And we have applied for a joint a/c with Co-op but i'm keen to have a current a/c in my own name for my salary.
Clydesdale is a possibility but i would prefer Lloyds, now i have ccs with Bank of Scotland and Halfax but now that they are part of Lloyds would it be safe to have my salary going in there or should i avoid them.
Just not clear if Lloyds could hold my money and offset to HBOS or are they more seperate?
Thanks.

As they are part of the same group it would be better not to bank with Lloyds, to be honest. There is no reason why you cannot open another co-op account in your name only ( which would make it easier to juggle transfers from one to the other, if need be, online). I have 2 cashminders with them and they are quite happy with that.0

Thanks Foggy,
I've just phoned the Co-op as things seem to be taking time to get through the post, probably just my impatiance to get away from RBS though! and they suggested that too, so once the joint one is up and running i'll see how it goes and maybe do that.
Best wishes,
