Bought Spider Man (2disc version) 2 weeks ago for less than £5 and STILL havent recieved it after it was published by someone from this forum.

Money was taken from my account so I'm not too sure whether i'll get my money back.

Customer Service is non-existstent from Phone or Email.

You could of course try the number BT has for this mans name and address.
Go to https://www.BT.com and enter his name and address in direct enquiries. It comes up with a different number than he publishes. Probably his home number. You may get an answer from this line.

I too have had problems with this company.

Placed 2 orders for 1 DVD each order.

Waited weeks but nothing.

Sent email.

Nothing.

Tried emailing various times.

Nothing.

Have a case pending with PayPal who will likely get me a refund, so IMO I would steer well clear of this company, just try using a search engine and look for happy customers. Plenty of forum posts like this though...

I've been trying to get in touch with this company for ages. Memory full when ringing up and e-mails not returned. Tempted to get in the car and drive round there to see if I get any satisfaction. Anyway, reported the company to Trading Standards and have found the following information from directory enquiries. This number doens't seem to go to the same voicemail - perhaps it's their residential number?

:mad: Scam, stay away!!!

Ive been scammed by this company. Ive had trading standards in and Mr Danby advised my goods were coming from Jersey...yeah whatever!

Some info for you all as i have done some research and im taking Mr Danby to court.

https://www.looking4dvds.com is owned by Supercom Ltd, Supercom is Mr Danby's other venture, they can be found at https://www.supercom.uk.com. telephone number is 0161 427 0491. Mr Danby lives at the address stated on both these companies website's. It is a residential address. I have contacted Zecundo and find it dvd.co.uk who he is registered with and they have advised they have had numerous complaints, and will be withdrawing his company from their listings.

My contact at trading standards is Seeta Seewraj. She is very helpful, so PLEASE email all you complaints to her at this address - seeta.seewraj2@stockport.gov.uk

Im also contacting the police, and have also contacted a "debt recovery" agency. You can imagine the characters these company use, ive met a few and they are nasty people, but very helpful when you pay them, and they love to smash people up for a living.

If anyone has anymore info / emails/ or contact from Mr Danby, please email it to me at gcbarnard@yahoo.co.uk i will use the information in court.

The website is still there. It's .com not .co.uk which may lead people to think it's no longer there.

The dvd was for my daughter's birthday. I hope he burns in hell.

Contact your credit card company and they will do a chargeback to your account. For such a tiny amount they'd do it without blinking.

Mr Danby is trading fraudulently. Looking4dvds.com is a fraudulent site.

He has even had the temerity to have ameeting with Trading Standards and blame it on computer problems from 7 months ago and said he would give us our money back within the week. That was almost a month ago. 100+ attempts to contact him have fallen on stony ground.

Please don't anyone think that this is just bad luck on our part. This guy is a common crook and deserves what is coming to him.

Hello Everybody.

Please be aware that looking4dvd's is a SCAM WEBSITE run by MR Danby. The parent company is Supercom Ltd. I have been chasing my cd for 9 months. you will not receive it. i have logged complaints with the DTi and trading standards, but for some reason they will not prosecute or shut him down, so he continues to rip people off.

PLEASE forward all your complaints to the following people. Hopefully consumer power will wake up trading standards and stop them turning a constant blind eye towards this man.
