PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.

5 days was a bit short. You sent your letter on Saturday 12 - you cannot expect them to have received it until Tuesday 15 and unless you have already had your post today, you cannot expect to have recieved a letter posted later than Wednesday 16. Wait another week and come back if you still need to.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

I will wait a few more days. Meanwhile, I would like to be prepared if no positive response.0 -
The letter to the agent was sent by recorded delivery. Royal Mail track service shows the letter was delivered and signed 9:08 14th. The letter to the LL was sent by normal first class c/o the agent's address. Is it possible the agent just doesn't pass the letter to the LL? If the legal action is required, will these letters be parts of the evidence? I didn't obtain post proof for the LL one. Someone in other similar posts suggests to send letters through 2 post offices and ask proof. Shall I write them another set of letters and post them in such way?0

Thanks for coming back and letting us all know and congratulations! So many EAs/LLs rely on tenants either not knowing, or not being prepared to stick up for, their rights.
And yes, funny how a written letter makes somethimng so much more official and serious than an email, text or phone call! Which is why you'll see the regulars on this site always advising posters to get writing without delay

HOORAY! Good for you. Now, just cross your fingers and pray that the cheque clears OK.
Thanks for coming back and letting us know how you got on.0
