Is it likely that stocks and shares will continue to plummet?
I'm just thinking if I should invest something small into a FTSE 100 Tracker when it hits the lowest point.

Many seem to have momentarily dipped and recovered. I guess the future impact depends on the severity of the tsunami...0

Just hold out for now and see what develops over the weekend0

There's two possibilities.sho_me_da_money wrote: »Is it likely that stocks and shares will continue to plummet?
Unfortunately the rules are that you have to invest before you know whether it's at its lowest point.sho_me_da_money wrote: »I'm just thinking if I should invest something small into a FTSE 100 Tracker when it hits the lowest point.0 -
Never mind 'something small', you should DEFINITELY wade in when it hits its lowest.0

'lowest point'. 'Wade in'. 'Reaching the bottom'.
Interesting choice of phrases for a thread about a potential tsunami.0 -

Wall Street is due to open trading shortly, so time will soon tell how the market is going to go.
There has been no sign of any form of recovery yet in the markets, the Japanese market has weathered pretty well considering what has happened and with Retail Sales up for the first part of this year in the US this could result in a positive for global markets.
Issues in Saudi may develop further which could cause the markets to further slump but it seems quiet on this front at the moment.0 -
