Hi, yesterday this security just appeared on my laptop. It keeps telling me I need to buy its software and it is blocking me from going on the internet. I know its bogus but dont know how to remove it as it is not appearing in program search. Any ideas how to delete please. Thanks in advance

Reboot and keep pressing F8 to get into SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING
Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
Open malwarebytes and goto UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated goto SCANNER and click PERFORM QUICK SCAN then click SCAN
Remove everything thats found (needs to be ticked)
Post the COMPLETE log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds
If anything was found then do the exact same but run a FULL scan
reboot into NORMAL mode
Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/
Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)
If you get a message that you cant write to the hosts file then Press the SHIFT key, and whilst holding it RIGHT CLICK and select RUN AS (admin)
If you still can download try FixExe.reg (to allow malwarebytes etc to run). After clicking YES it will be fixed (Nothing will visually happen)

If still no good try RKILL (all versions till it works)

Thank you for your reply. It wont let me on to the internet so using another computer i downloaded the malwarebytes on to a CD and tried to then put it on the infected computer. This did not work. Is there anyway to get onto the internet on the infected computer?
Edit: have now managed to get rid of virus using the site you recommended. Thanks rik.0 -

I asked for the logs as the chance of your computer being completely clean is unlikely
