Anyone tried to exchange tickets for Wyndham's Theatre in London?

I booked three tickets for me, OH and a friend to go and see Much Ado About Nothing at Wyndham's Theatre on the 8th June last weekend. However upon going to write the date on my calendar I realised I'm supposed to be on holiday that week (I know, fail!).
The back of the tickets say that you can't get the tickets refunded but you can exchange them up to 24 hours before the performance subject to a per ticket fee.
Has anyone tried to do this and if so how much did it cost? Or does it depend on the price of the tickets (they were £26 each)?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
If you bought the tickets direct from the theatre (which it sounds like you have - do they have delfont mackintosh on the top right hand corner of the ticket?) then yes you can exchange the tickets for a different date for Much Ado providing they have seats in your price range on a date you'd like to go (I think its been quite popular with Tennant & Tate in it).
The exchange fee is £1.75 per ticket and needs to be done 24 hours before the show. You will need to send the tickets back to the theatre with a brief covering letter explaining the exhange and the new tickets will be sent out to you.
If you bought the tickets from SEE or Ticketmaster then you probably cant exchange the tickets.
Hope this helps.
