What happens next after your DRO Moratoruim has ended
I Have a question what does it mean when its says Moratorium Period ended on 09 March 2011 for exmaple.? Second question if the moratorium peroid has ended how long before a person can get they life back . Do you still have a limit of £300 pounds for the next 3 months and when or if will you be allowed to start saviung for a rainy day so that you can rebuild your life.
And how do you check for the discharge will it say discharged or monraturim peroid ended.
And will you get people calling and rining you once the debt has been discharged
Im getting very worried as I really am struggling with health issues and its effecting me I just would like to know if or when I will be able to get my life back to some form of normality etc.
Thanks all hope you dont mind me asking could do with some advice as you have all been wornderful the past year.

I Have a question what does it mean when its says Moratorium Period ended on 09 March 2011 for exmaple.?You are discharged from your DRO and all your debts are now no longer yours to deal with
Second question if the moratorium peroid has ended how long before a person can get they life back It will take a few years before you can really start getting credit etc. but you have your life back now as you have no debts. Do you still have a limit of £300 pounds for the next 3 months No, what you do now is up to you.and when or if will you be allowed to start saviung for a rainy day so that you can rebuild your life. Whenever you want or are able.
And how do you check for the discharge will it say discharged or monraturim peroid ended. On the IS website. Will get you a link.
And will you get people calling and rining you once the debt has been discharged If you do, you tell them your DRO details and tell them that they are breaking the law calling you and please go away. No one can do anything to you.

When you are discharged if you can print a copy of your discharge entry that will be useful or ask your OR if they will write a note to say you are discharged and then in a couple of months time start the Credit File Clean Up

How do you print a copy of your discharge entry please? I have a printout from the Insolvency Register that says my moratorium period ended on...0

That's the same thing. Just a difference in terminology.
A bankruptcy entry will refer to "discharge". A DRO entry will refer to the moratorium period.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
