hi I was wondering if anyone had any advice as i have a designated parking space outside my house in a cul-de-sac, I pay a service charge for this parking space and it is clearly marked for the use of my house only but i keep getting home to find strange people parked in it (and i don't mean just for a few seconds its more like a few hours) and i have to park round the corner with my 3 young children.
I wouldn't mind so much if the people were actually visiting someone in my road but the last few times it was someone from a block of flats round the corner who actually have there own car park round the back of the flats that's empty......
i don't want to appear a mean person but i have to pay a separate service charge for this parking space as it comes with the house i rent and i object to paying for a parking space just for some ill mannered idiot to park his car there.
i don't want to end up in a argument with these numpty's as i live on my own with my children.
i found a website called flashpark.co.uk and thought it sounded like a solution as asking them not to park there has no effect and the police aren't likely to help as its to trivial for them, but its really getting me down...:(

I think this is SPAM but i had to look at the website, Shame it makes illegal claims. They cannot fine anyone.
Might post a link to trading standards im sure they will have a field day. Treble overtime.
So how much do you charge to patrol ONE parking space? LOL
Im sure thats going to work.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

thanks for the reply, didn't know if the website was a legitimate company or not so its a good job i had the sense to ask for advice first, am just annoyed at having to pay for a parking space outside my front door that is designated to my house and in my contract but often not being able to use it, especially as one of my kids is disabled, am sure anyone would feel the same in my position.
the cheek of some people is beyond me, is it just me thinking it or is this country full of inconsiderate a$$holes with no respect for anyone.0 -

Not sure if the country is full of them but PPCs definatley are.
Especially the ones that come on here pretending to be 'naughty drivers' who were forced to pay a PPC charge or happy users of PPC 'services'. Now they really are lower that whale 5h1t.0 -
This is spam IMO, can some of you report it as suchExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
well looks like my best bet is to deal with these ignorant people myself.
maybe i should follow them home and park on there drive or garden...0 -

Ooooo, it gets better! Of course parking on people's driveways is sooooo common (not)!
Give up, we are not listening...la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, (fingers in ears...).

lol I only came on this site cos i wanted some advice as what to do and was under the impression it was a very good advice site.
unfortunately my opinion has changed slightly.
I took the advice about not using ppc's like the web site i came across, as didn't know anything about the legality/morals of it , hence i asked about it first.
I am the sensible one here, as other posts i have read say pour paint stripper on the car that is nuisance parking, which is criminal damage and not a very good idea at all.
I just wanted sensible advice which don't involve breaking the law.
too much to ask for i guess.0 -
This board is now so paranoid that anyone with a genuine parking problem [as the OP appears to have] is now immediately labelled a PPC scammer.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0

I don't think it's spam.
Suggest parking behind the offending driver - block 'em in if that's possible.
If this causes problems for your neighbours, maybe you'll get some help from them.0
