The n is almost certainly because a \n or newline character has been corrupted somehow - possibly by doubling iup on the \ to \\n
Without seeing the code it's impossible to know for sure what the cause is.0 -
thank you, can i send the code to you? thankyou0

Would need to see the '?contact' handler to work out why this is happening.0 -
Could be a problem with your host 000webhost. Unfortunately this is a problem when using free hosting accounts.Estate Agent, Web Designer & All Round Geek!0

Thanks Steve - I'd not spotted it was hosted with them. Got to be brutally honest, to say that it is a bit gypsyish to host a business website there is a mild understatement. I've also noticed the OP has been here before asking for help fixing parts of his website. I appreciate that this is a money saving website and everyone likes to help their fellow man out, but sometimes it goes to far. I'm sure the OP is not giving away free accommodation and food :-)
OP - ask you hosting provider what they have changed and fix the back end script accordingly.0 -
Thanks Steve
No problem! :beer:I'm sure the OP is not giving away free accommodation and food :-)
You never know!OP - ask you hosting provider what they have changed and fix the back end script accordingly.
Although I don't hold out much hope!
On a separate note, you should change the copyright date at the bottom of your site or at least make it 2008 - 2011.Estate Agent, Web Designer & All Round Geek!0 -
Thanks guys... well...
1st of all - i am helping someon out on here - its a small family run business and i dont see a problem hosting it on a free service.. if you think otherwise - your opinion.
i have reposted as the 1st post contained other problems and wanted to start fresh.
it worked in the beginning with 000 hence my question - was advised to upload via FTP rather than a website upload and it helped but then i did something else and it broke again...
so as i said - i am helping someone out with this site - and the owner does actually do a lot for others for free - e.g free weekends for people who need a gateaway place - eg. people who lost loved ones and people struggling with life... hope thats ok wit u?
plus i do a lot to help other ppl without anything in return - i dont need anyone to question it... thanks for your help anyway0
