To celebrate, The Scotsman has teamed up with Scottish Friendly and organiser Scottish Book Trust to offer four lucky readers £250 worth of contemporary children’s books to donate to a school of their choice.

Just replying to say, the headline is misleading - its not actually a £1000 pounds prize, its 4 times £250... which is still good.
