The pound shops sell packs of silicone cake cases - the magazine is fine for the first issue 'gift' (as are most partwork magazines- and am absolute ripoff for the whole set) but the recipes are very basic so I wouldn't be worried if you miss out on it! (plus the recipe for buns in the mag is for 10 - and they only give 6 cases ;-) )

I would also say check out your local newsagents if you are looking for a copy of this. They had loads in my local Londis

Got mine in my local newagents.... Though the poundland cases are just as good and I think you get more. On first look I liked the mag but won t be buying more.

These seem to be selling like hot cakes (pun intended) :)

Is it just me or do the cases look muffin sized?

Really annoying that they are running telly ads for this then you can't actually buy it anywhere!! Think I'll try and find the poundland ones instead, thanks!
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!
  • I can't find the mag anywhere either:o
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

I am going to buy a copy if I can tomorrow, I have 2 dozen bright coloured ones already. They are fantastic, and not just useful for baking cakes. I made individual banoffee pies which was very handy for a buffet. Next occasion I shall be making individual cheesecakes, and trifles.
