Bah.... missed payment (?)

Just remembered I haven't had a credit card statement for a while - checked my account online.

Payment due in 3 days which I've just paid in full but it says it'll take up to 2 working days to clear.

Have I just lined myself up for a nice charge and dent in my credit rating?

You may be ok it might arrive on the day.
One late payment will not make a large dent in your credit rating.

You should be fine, although for future you may want to setup a direct debit if possible to avoid this kind of situation.

Some cards accept FPs, which will be quicker than card payment (if that's how you've paid now?).

    Who's the card with?

Probably not a lot of help now. But you can pay a Barclaycard at a Barclays branch up to 5.30pm on your payment due day.

    Arghhhhh :D

Although there is 2 pending transactions - so if I go and pay £x in branch tomorrow I've paid at least the minimum payment, dodging a charge?

Ring and see if they accept FPs (unless someone on here can confirm?)...assuming you can send one?

If money's tight, just send the minimum. At least you'll save £12 and protect your credit file.

    Good luck.

    In theory.

I only every did this once. Cash. Got a cash receipt for the deposit. Took over a week to arrive. Had to pay again via FP in the mean time to avoid fees.

FP is the best way to pay :o (Yes, they accept FP)
