non standard size doors?

Hi

we need two new doors however our kitchen doors and boiler room doors are not of a standard size, what do you do if you need to get a certain size door, do you have to buy solid wood doors and then chop them down?

i am not looking at spending allot of money, however i do need to get 2 new doors

the dimensions of the doors are as follows

Kitchen - height = 1950mm
Width = 735mm

Boiler Room - Height = 1810
Width = 605mm

i generally go to B & Q to get the doors however because there are not of a standard size, i am not sure what people generally do

They sound like standard doors that have been cut down to fit.

the kitchen door sounds like a 30" X 78" that has been cut down, and the BR sounds ;ole a 24" x 78" that has also been cut down.

generally you buy the next size up and trim them down.
beware that not all doors are suitable for serious trimming. esp the cheap internal doors.
and the hollow ones.

someone has a solid wood door to give me, the measurements are

196cm x 76cm

i would only need to take 2.5cm off the width of our kitchen door? as it is 73.5cm wide, surely that is not to much?

i think i am going to have trouble with the boiler room door, as that seems way off?

also a glass door 6 panel which dimensions are 196.5cm height , width 77cm not sure i could cut that down to 73.5cm without wrecking it?
