Pelmet lighting recommendations

Hi,

We are having a kitchen fitted at the moment and have wires at the bottom of each of the top cabinate runs ready to attach pelemet lighting.

The wires run from the kitchen lighting circut and are switched from the light switch.

Anyone got any recommendations for good lights that would suit this configuration.

Would prefer if they weren't switched at the light as well.

Cheers D

It does not matter whether the lights are switched individually or not. If you leave them switched on peranently, then the wall switch will over-ride the switch in the lamp.
I can afford anything that I want.

Cheers but no point in paying for a switched unit if there is a cheeper unswitched one?

All the ones I find seem to have a kettle lead on them so I can't just wire in my wire!

I just one something like a strip light that lets me wire my own cable in!

Wilkos do linkable 10W fluorescents for £7.99 or something pretty close to that price.

All you need to do if its a kettle lead fitting is connect it into a junction box along with your lighting wire....simples!
