Barclaycard 0% deal

looks great.
Just read it again and they won't allow you to have more than 90% of your balance limit used by a balance transfer.

Sounds fair until you realise the initial limit is only £1200!!
I wanted to transfer over about £3k, a £1200 limit is silly IMHO.
Unless specifically stated all posts by me are my own considered opinion.

From their website: "Why not consider Barclaycard's 0% balance transfer credit card - as well as a great balance transfer deal, you'll also benefit from a tailored credit limit."

Looks like you need to have a look at your credit reports.

Limits will vary depending on individual circumstances. They use 1200 as an example for the representative APR calculations - it is not a fixed starting credit limit for customers.

Tell him what? That the credit limit could be anything between #500.00 and #20,000?

The #1,200.00 limit is only used as an EXAMPLE on their site.
