Travel/Gadget Insurance

Can anybody help!!!!!
Me and my partner are traveling to kuala lumpa/bourneo/then living in Pert Australia for 1 year,We are trying to get travel insurance for all our gadgets and insurance for ourselves,The problem we are having is that our gadgets on a normal policy is capped at £250-£300 per item,We are taking several items worth upto £700 each,from what i have seen i need to take out travel insurance and gadget insurance seperatley,any recomendations people??? on who to use or policys
