Type of survey and does the vendor have to see it?

I just had a survey done as well and the EA was almost bullying me into giving him a copy of it. I was advised by the surveyor, 2 other EA's, my solicitor, my mortgage broker and friends not to give out any copies as this is a personal document which I had paid hundreds for also the fact that the EA/Vendor would have a free survey if we for some reason end up not getting the property. I was also told by a friend's friend (a property developer) that the EA's sometimes themselves / their friends are interested in buying the property and will ask for a free copy.

Thank you everyone for your comments.
I'm hopeful of a renegotiated price. This has been on the market since April after the last sale falling through. Was told that there was 'a problem with finance'. It has been untenanted since August so I would think the vendor is keen to see some money out of the property.
Oh well, fingers crossed.0
