Afternoon all
Pixie, so glad the Crohn's isn't back
DNMS - great news on the cooker. I've been looking at fridges today, and would love a steel one, but really would just prefer one which works!
Ceejay - sorry to hear you had a rubbish day yesterday - hope today's getting better for you.
I'm really behind today, and feeling out of MSE sorts, but here's my list:- heating's off
- laundry on the airer (yesterday's line drying ended in rain, and it looks much the same today)
- checked online banking
- checked for/done surveys
- spent what feels like the entire morning researching fridge freezers
- parked in free car park whilst in town
- bought cheap batteries instead of adding them to the grocery shop
- lunch made out of odds and ends - eggs, onion, leftover quorn bacon and sweetcorn - yum
- dinner from stores/menu
The fridge thing is more complicated than I would like - ours is so old, and I made the mistake of assuming the newer ones would be about the same size, but the freezers are almost all quite a bit smaller. And I already feel we are at bursting point with the freezer. If only there was room in the kitchen for an American style one, but alas not.

Thanks for the reminder. I nipped out at lunchtime and picked one up. I wouldn't buy a 'part work' but those silicon cake cases are sooooo expensive normally.Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0 -

Hey all
I think there must be something in the air, I feel rubbish today, really blue and OH doesn't get it. He is sick too, so has reverted to sarky boy mode and it just makes me sad.
*hugs all round* and Yay for pixie!
Today I have/will:
*walked to work, despite desperately wanting to get the bus
*will walk home
*not a NSD sadly as needed more cough sweets ans I have a driving lesson, but its budgetted for
*checked bank - balance transfer done, so that feels really good! I will also be able to pay £400 off when expenses get paid
*had starbucks coffee and free mini cakey thing (so wouldn't pay £1.50, but mmmm good!) (starbucks is my vice, so lovely boy got me a card for my birthday)
*trying desperately not to cancel driving lesson, but feeling rubbish and its a bit of an uphill struggle
Can't think of anything else

Hello lovely ladies - and gents if there are some!
Any tips for keeping your freezer frost free!! Or at least just a lower level of frost? Our fridge freezer is particularly bad - it is rather old and recently kept frosting up so it was difficult to get the door to seal shut!
We have just defrosted it, eating everything from the freezer for 6 weeks and i have put the drawers back but am sure it won't take long to get back to what it was like before
I know there are those frost mats but cant find them for cheaper than about £7 and i suppse i would need one for every drawer!
Thanks in advance!
Forgot to add - clean freezer drawers on todays list!
Lovely empty freezer ready to fill. Just popped to the corner shop to get the girls some birds eye crispychicken for tea - that is all that is in there!!Orange Fairy
