Insurace Help Needed

The main problem is dunstonh I don't know what I need really because that would need me to be able to predict the future.

Since I now have a good idea of what the different policies that are available are (previosuly I had no idea, or even heard of level term etc just because I've never really needed to give it a thought. I've spent half my life single, hang-gliding, parachuting, snowboarding, moutain biking and rock climbing so I imagine I've been risking more than some). I think I now need to actually question myself and what I actaully think I need. After all the commodity I'm buying I think is peace of mind, and I don't currently know how much that is worth to me. This whole family thing is new ground and I haven't fully got a grasp on it yet. What I mean by that is I've not had dependants before and therefore never really cared too much about stuff and therfore not given it any thought. This has/is changing I guess I need to reflect a little.

I'm one of those people who can only decide on something after being fully informed and coming to the conclusion myself that it's the best for my needs. I cannot just take someone elses word for it. Maybe this comes from my sports. I don't jump with a chute I haven't packed, or fly I glider I haven't rigged and checked over. Who knows.
