Storage units units in NW London

Most of these commercial places charge a packet for storage..

I probably need a 70 sq ft room

any cheap alternatives....

    Apparently it can sometimes be cheaper to rent a room in a shared house. You'd need to be careful you'd got insurances sorted out though.

    How long do you need to store the whatever-it-is for? Is it something that needs any kind of special conditions?

    Maybe ask around and see if anybody has a garage they'd rent to you on short term basis? (Insurance would be an issue with that too, but unlikely an insurmountable one).
