    IT. They've been paying people off here and there for years. But a huge chunk of what the company do is now going so it looks like I'll be going too as I support them. Trying to see the bright side, i.e. redundancy money to pay off debts.

    i caught on your other thread about you looking into lecturing ....nice one...can you contact the uni's colleges, try even the local sip (i know it's not sip anymore i just cant remeber what it's change too) projects...i work with a couple of guys who do this kinda stuff dont think it pays great but they get to work with a different variety of people

    SIP? Done unpaid guest lecturing in some colleges/uni's so I'm pretty well known. Doing one next week actually. Will check it out. Its going to mean a huge drop in salary but never mind. Trying to find a comprehensive list of click through sites or similar to earn a little extra on top of the other things I do. Would like to clear off a little more of my debt before I do get made redundant so that I might have a little cash as a cushion if I do go into lecturing. Do you know where I might get a list?

    i think there is one on here somewhere...i'll see if i can find it for you ...sip is the social inclusion partnership ...it's european funded thing ...alot of local councils do it ...south lanarkshire deff does....i know they do basic comp skills classes for those that know very little knowledge...it might just be a couple of hours a week but it may lead onto other things and give you some money coming in in the meantime
