Parking Fines: council, private, go to pepipoo

Hi All who have been disgusted by receiving any type of parking ticket/fine.

Don't pay but go to w w w (dot) pepipoo (dot) com for free legal advice.

They have already saved me from paying a £60 fine for parking in a suspended residents bay, apparantely Islington had not been authorised by the DfT to post temporary signs of this nature. I went to pepipoo, after being advised on here, after I pleaded with the council, pointing out my severe financial hardship. They capitulated only as much as they allowed a slightly longer paying period. Then went to pepipoo in desperation, sent the Notice to owner form I was sent by the council after not paying the fine. Filled it in as I was instructed by pepipoo and the council subsequently cancelled the PCN. I was delighted as didn't have the money to pay in any case.

I'm currently taking to court a private company and land holder that fined me £547 after they clamped and towed my car, following pepipoo's advice. I'm fairly confident.

So even if private fines that you have paid are up to 6 years old, you can still sue, post all details on pepipoo for advice and DO NOT PAY any other type of parking fines till you check on pepipoo as once you pay council, police PCN's nothing further can be done.

Please note, there is no catch, no paying anything at any time. Just voluntary donations. I haven't even donated anything yet, despite the saving of £60 as I'm still struggling financially. But I'm sure I will feel I can afford something if I get my £547 back.

Happy motoring

A number of posters on here are also members on pepipoo (including myself), and we do quite often refer others on to there, particularly with council tickets or in relation to driving prosecutions.

Me too, I go on pepipoo forums as well and can vouch for their advice. :D:T

The link is the current parking board - mostly Council PCNs 'cos it's EASY to ignore Private ones.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
