Hi, i recently filed a claim against LloydsTSB with MCOL. The claim says that it was issued 06/11/06 and under the Judgement heading it says 'start' when i select this and request 'Judgement by Default' it says unable to yet as the defendant has 14 days to admit/defend my claim. By my calculations 14 days would be 20/11/06. Its now 21/11/06 and it wont let me proceed? any help anyone.

The claim is deemed served by MCOL aout 4 days after you file online, as this is when they presume the company would have received the details. You should have received a letter from the courts telling you when it would be served and the date they have to reply before you can file for a judgement?Any spelling mistakes are entirely on purpose to check you're paying attention

Sometimes the status is a couple of days out.
There have been cases where the bank have filed a defence at the last minute and this is not reflected in the claim for a couple of days.0 -
ok Cheers guys. I will give it another couple of days to pan out.0
