pocket hd camcorder dilemma

hi guys, looking for a pocket hd camcorder to take on trip to vegas in summer. my dilemma: I can get the sony bloggie PM5K for £99 on the M&S website (£80 off till tomorrow!!) - I have £100 in vouchers from work. So it's free, but it doesn't review too well - no hdmi output, poor software etc.

Do I get it and accept it's not the best or get something like a flip, kodak Zi8, sanyo GC 20 or toshiba S20 which all review way better, but have to pay £100-150.

I don't see me using the vouchers for much else, not really an M&S guy!

any advice greatly appreciated

it's another to add to the list, but i'm still torn as to whether to go for the effectively free sony or pay for a better one.

It'll probably get used only rarely and my new phone will shoot in HD, admittedly in 720. But I just can't make up my mind!

However infrequently it is used, it will be good if the quality is as you want

just going to order the bloggie, looked at some test footage on youtube, will do for what i need.

ok, not going to do that now, thought the M&S website was reserve and collect but it's not so can't use vouchers to buy it and there is no availablility in any stores near me
