Well nearly 24hrs on and its looking good!:T The Bepanthen seems good, keeping it moist and protecting it from dirt etc a bit. Been about 10yrs since my last one but fairly sure this one is less sore than the last, though that one was on the back of my thigh so regularly sat on!!! Already wondering about another..oh dear oh dear!:p:o0

Awesome tattoo! Certainly looks very healthy
I wish I'd had Sazzarella's advice! I used Savlon on my first tattoo and ended up with a big scab on part of it. When it fell off the ink came with it! Luckily I went back to my tattooist and as I'd followed his advice and hadn't picked it he filled it back in for free.0 -
My hubby not long had another tattoo, but he left his Bepanthen at work, so I used Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream on him....worked a treat! :T0

I was told to use baby oil on mine - it's mainly to stop the skin drying out though so guess any moisturier would do the job0

Thanks, I am really happy with it.
Yes, I had heard that scabs could lead to losing the ink and dont want to risk that happening.0 -
Oh no, nightmare! I seem to be allergic to Bepanthen!!!! My arm has come up blotchy and itchy - and in the shape of where I have rubbed the ointment rather than coming from the writing. I've washed it and left it without anything on it for now, and taken some piriton to stop the itch, but wonder if I should use something else to stop it drying? All suggestions welcome.0

E45 or any moisturiser really (one that your not allergic to
) My last tattoo came up in lots of tiny spots when it was healing which was horrible and really sore!

I have nearly 50 hours of work on me and I always use Tattoo Goo.
I only use it for 2/3 days though and then I let it heal on its own. Keep it clean and get as much air to it as you can.0
