Clark's mens boots

I bought a pair of mens Chelsea boots from Clarks on the 12th Nov last year and still have receipt. I only wear them at weekends and didn't wear them in the snow.
I calculate that I haven't worn them on more than 20 occassions, the heels aren't worn and the soles look new, they cost £74.99.
One of the boots is okay but the other has both the sole and heel slightly coming away. They are usable at the moment (just) but much more wear and they wont be.
What reaction will I get if I take them back to the shop, I still have the receipt?
I understand the SOGA but didn't know whether Clarks will be initially receptive or not.
