Verbatim, I hope it's nothing serious.. They'll get to the bottom of it though so try and not worry too much.. My b/f's Mum had a faulty heart valve and her symptoms were similar to what you are describing. She had an op last year and now is fab!
Good Luck!

Gosh I hope you're ok. If its any consolation, my friends wife found out she had valve problems during her basic training but they still kept her and she has been in the police force for almost 2 years. And to echo your sentiments

Big Hug to you Verbatim. Hope you find out the problem, I think sometimes the worry of what it might be is worse than knowing.
Thanks for the advice to treat ourselves more kindly. :T"Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it." (Montgomery, L.M.(1908). Anne of Green Gables.)

sorry to hear about your problems verbatim.
only advice i can offer is regards diet, how good is yours? i've been finding myself tired out a bit recently and the advice i got was to start eating more carbs again. i've found since being a dfw and budgetting that i can start to avoid things like fruit and veg for financial reasons, which is so wrong. i'd rather prolong that dfd than get ill, so i'm trying to reprogram my noggin again!
take care of yoruself and let us know how you get on x0 -
Yep lynsayjane, I've re-introduced fresh fish rather than just using frozen to make a pie or casserole and try to remind myself to eat fruit rather than choc/puds! I think I eat pretty well with loads of veg and HM wholemeal bread. Just too much! Need to cut down and lose a few stone probably.:D
Since this all hit I've also decided we should go out more even if the dfd recedes a bit. A bit more fun has been agreed on here.:T
Luckily my OH's salary seems likely to get back to nearly "normal" from being the mere shadow of itself it became earlier this year. In fact it went down several times over the past few years which was how paying back the cards became an issue.
I've worked out a plan where I've identified specific bits of money that I can save between now and the end of April when my last 0% ends which should allow me to pay it off. But that depends on OH's salary continuing and our rented properties remaining tenanted and tenants paying their rent. And my tax bill being similar to last year and I won't know that until I get off MSE and get back to working it out! A lot of big ifs.
A bit of background
We had saved a huge amount for refurbishing the house but needed a mortgage too but were unwilling to take on too much mortgage debt.
When I took out the debt on 0% cards it seemed an excellent way of getting credit interest free to get more of the work on the house done. And you could say it's worked. So far I haven't paid any interest and it's saved us a bundle in interest as compared to adding it to the mortgage. We did have to take a mortgage out to get most of the building work done (having paid it off early once a few years before) but we wanted to keep it down as much as we could. Even so it's 3 times more than when I took it out to buy the house originally! AND we didn't expect our income to plummet.
Almost all the money on the cards was spent on doing up our Victorian house with just a small amount on "frippery", (a short break and a party). Mind you getting away from a house full of builders, dust and noise for 5 days was stress busting and cheaper than moving out entirely which was what the builder wanted!:D
So would I do it over again? No! And altho there's plenty more that needs doing it can wait until we've saved up for it, or we'll live without it.:TCCs @0% £24k Dec 05 £19,621.41 Au £13400 S 12600 Oct £11,981 £9481 £7500 Nov £7250 D £7100 Jan 6950 F £5800 Mar£5400 May £4830 June £4660 July £4460 Aug £3200, S £900, £0 18/9/07 DFW Nerd 0420
