Capital one. I haven't got the card.... but I received the statement!!

Applied for the Capital one cashback card on the 3rd of March. Since then received the Pin and letter to apply for additional card holder but has never actually received a acceptance letter or the card itself. And today I received the statement. All without the card itself or a letter of acceptance still.... is this normal for them?

It's normal for them to just send the card without acceptance letter, yes. They would write to you if they needed more information or the application had been declined, but if approved, they just send the card etc.

They can sometimes take 10 days to send the card out but if your account was opened just a day or two before the statement date was set then this could explain your situation. I would highly recommend calling them to verify your card has been sent - and most importantly when - so that you can cancel it and re-order if someone has intercepted the one they originally sent out

If it's been a few days it might not have arrived yet.
They send them seperately for security reasons (in case of theft).
But if it doesn't arrived soon then call them, it may have been nicked.

I am quite positive that I have been accepted as all evidence points towards that... But I thought getting a statement before I get to use the card is a bit bizarre. I can't even set up my online account as I have no idea what name they put on the card at the moment.
