  • well it worked!

We’ve just got your order and we’ll be in touch within 5 days to arrange an installation date. As soon as your Direct Debit has been set up, we’ll confirm that too by post – it normally takes 5 days.

Since you’ve moved fast and snapped up our free phone offer, you’re in line to get a shiny new Motorola L7 from the nice people at Virgin Mobile too. This will arrive just after we’ve installed your new cable service. It’s a good idea to allow up to 28 days for the delivery from the date your cable service has been installed, but normally it arrives much sooner than that.

Ooh, that's my eldest's phone they're quite good. Wish we could get NTL around here, I'd have them for everything like I used to in Manchester.

I would use NTL but they say I can't get it in my area.
This despite the fact that my neighbours have it, the cable teminates at my gate and I spoke to the guys when they installed it. My postcode doesn't appear on any database thay have and if I phone them they tell me it is "not available in your area" - useless shower!
We all evolve - get on with it
  • Hi I've been with ntl for under a month do you think i am eligiable for the free motorola. Did you contact them to find out. If so how?

    THanks

I took up the offer for a leopard pink phone from NTL/Telewest which at the time was a good deal, since receiving the phone and cancelling my Orange contract I have found that Virgin has a bad signal where I live, hence I can only send receive mesages and calls once I am out of my area.

I have learnt that Virgin mobile is piggy backing on T Mobile so unless you have a good signal in your area dont bother with the promotion.

Can't you just unlock it and use a different network?
