How much for replacement fencing

AirCooledHeaven

After the recent high winds I've lost part of my fence which is larchlap with wooden posts. Five 6 foot high panels need replacing and 6 posts have snapped off at the base so will need to be dug out and replaced. Does anyone have an idea of how much this work would cost? The ground is level and the fence is easily accessible. I'm in the midlands.
Thanks

I would use featherboard and not panels next time. It will cost you a bit more but looks alot better and much more sturdy imho. Off the top of my head about 3 years ago when I done mine I paid about £250 for the wood, 4 notched posts and support bits from a sawmill that would do the equivalent of about 4 and a bit panels. Another 20 odd quid on nails and sharp sand/cement and paid a recommended bloke £180 who done it over 2 visits. Well happy with the result even though I know I could have done it cheaper using panels. If you are anywhere near Bedfordshire id be more than happy to pass on his details.0
