I'm current running 2 cars in my family. I've a 1.9 diesel saloon and my wife has a 1.4 petrol mini MPV I use mine driving to work daily (35 miles/day) and some motorway at the weekend. My wife use her for food shopping and taking the 2 children to play groups etc. (unless then 5000 miles per year) My wife thinking to sell…

Ok, being serious. Do you need 2 cars? Shopping can be done online. If play group isn't far can she walk when nice, get taxi when not/ask other parent for lift and offer petrol money?
