Try https://www.radioarchive.cc which holds hundreds (may even be thousands) of bbc radio plays..... and they are all free to download

Library? Our library you can download for free, I expect it's the same everywhere.

Unfortunately I believe that it's still only a minority of libraries that offer this.

I look on http://www.hotukdeals.com/ and if you look under the freebies section there are often newspapers or magazines that are giving audio books away for free I have picked up a number this way

I get mine on iTunes, if you are able to listen to your mp3 player in your car.
  • There are some great podcasts out there! There are lots of business related podcasts on itunes which can be good, though sometimes can be a bit dull! :)

I used to listen to audiobooks but now download podcasts. at the moment I download Radio 4 Comedy and Play of the week, Archers omnibus, The Game (Times football podcast), The Dave Gorman show, Mark Kermode film reviews from Radio 5, Sunday Supplement from Sky, 10 o'clock live and much more - all this keeps me busy when driving to and from work, and all free.
