Ways to improve Credit Rating after a Debt Relief Order?

I've just past the first 12 months so I now have no debt! :)

Few questions:

How do I now build up my credit for the next 5 years?

What kind of things should I avoid applying for?

Is there anything that I would not be granted now that I could be granted in 3 years if I did the right things building my credit? what are they?

What do you think my chances of getting a mobile phone contract are?

How does it affect me if I wanted to rent or get a mortgage?

My nan is buying me an £80,000 flat fully paid in my name, surely this can help with my credit if say I wanted to move to a £140,000 house in 2 years?
