Addition card holder??

Is it possible to have an additional card holder with a current account? Much like a credit card.
Just wondering, and if so is any bank better than another for this service?
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Meant to say"additional" in title!

Why not just have a joint account?, I'd doubt any bank would offer an additional card holder on a 'non-joint' account (I think that's what you mean?) as a joint account fulfils the same requirements.0

Because an additional card holder position would be better suited to my needs. A joint account would be a no go.0

You can get it on a business bank account, but not sure whether you can get it on a personal account, as the difference between what you suggest and a 'joint' account is more a legal difference as to account ownership rather than the services provided by the bank.0

Its purely due to financial association and credit ratings why we need to keep away from joint accounts.
Am I able to get a business account?
Thanks for your help

Not sure of the details involved in getting a Business Account, but there would in all likelyhood be ffes involved, alternatively you could ask advice as to which Banks don't report current a/c details to Credit Ref agencies:
I've had accounts with NatWest, First Direct, Cahoot & Woolwich, last time I checked I think only Cahoot & Woolwich appeared on my Experian report (although these details may change)
Alternatively possibly look at a Joint 'Basic' Bank account, as overdrafts aren't allowed on these probably won't ever appear on a Credit Reference Agency report?0
