Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Your case is no different to the many others featured on here. You have not broken any laws and you don't owe them a penny. From now on ignore all correspondent from the company and don't contact them again.

Take a look at the letters you might expect from this company. they are featured at the top of this sub-forum. Some of them might look scary, but that's the way they are designed. They try and fool people into paying up when in fact they don't have to. Hold firm and don't worry.

Don't understand the above but if you've been contacted by CP Plus,

file their letters in an appropriate receptacle (I always flush bog paper) then ignore them.

Had 3 of their unenforceable begging letters in quick succession last year - just what you need when dealing with a family bereavement. Ignored the lot - why should I help them by identifying who was the driver of one of the vehicles registered to me?

Heard nothing from them for months. If they truly believed I actually owed them money they would have taken me to court - obviously they know they are entitled to sweet f#ck #ll and are worried that a court would know that too.

I'd love them to try it though, issuing a charge against them for my time would be quite satisfying.

Here's the post from the defunct/closed discussion thread (have split it into paragraphs so it can be read easily):

Please Please Please can some one give me some good advice....I received a charge notice 2nd Feb 2011 regarding parking on the 31/01/2011.

I replied back saying I was not the driver but sent it to the appeals section, I then got a reply on the 08/02/2011 regarding me sending a standard letter and that there was no reference to any mitigating circumstances, they would not be accepting this as an appeal please send the name and address of the driver within 7 days.

My reply stated that I was not appealing and my letter was sent to the appeals section by error, it does not state an appeal it stated that I would not be paying your demand and that I am in no obligation to disclose who was driving the car, so please do not contact me.

I then received a reminder notice not to ignore on the 17/02/2011 and now I have recieved a Legal Action Pending dated 04/03/2011, my bill is now £120...........is it likely that this will be going to court and what do I need???

Should I send them one more letter stating that I was not the driver, where is your evidence or more like can you prove it was me with your photographic evidence, you really harrasing me now???

Any info would be much appreciated I have actually woke up today thinking I'm going to court but to be honest I have so much to do we are under so much stress at present that I could really do with out this.......I sent it to the appeals in error and am I really going to have to state who the driver was as they have asked the question.

    Anyhoo, here's a simple reply:

    - you are not going to Court

    - you are not going to have to pay anything at all
    - you do not have to reply, let alone tell a private company who was driving!

    - you are just going to ignore the letters, yes?
    - you have read the sticky threads now you have come to the current board?
    - you have seen the Watchdog clip on the sticky 'Read this Before Posting?'

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
