Bleach stain on natural marble tiles

On behalf of a friend:

Cillit Bang was used on some natural marble floor tiles and, presumably due to the bleach content, they are damaged (discoloured).

I guess this is because natural marble is porous. Is there any way to fix it without replacing the tiles?

No way to repair this I'm afraid, it's replacement only.

The tiles are unlikely to be thick enough to be able to take re polishing in situ.

I'm not sure about the bleach element but my Mum once successfully reclaimed the tea stain from a cup that was left on her marble hearth. Hot - very hot - cloth well wrung out and dabbed over the area. The heat from the cloth lifted the stain. If they are that bad its worth a go. We have granite down in our kitchen but every 6 -8 months or so put down a protective sealant to stop this kind of thing happening.

    Hope they get it sorted.
