Cheaper car insurance - old EU or new UK driving licence?

I've had my licence for 17 years now, which I got in my home country - Denmark.
I have the option of getting a UK licence, so I'm wondering which one would bring me the cheapest car insurance, cause I'm not sure if the Uk licence would be considered a new licence, and therefore I'd be considered a new driver = high insurance. Where as with my original licence I'd be considered as an experienced driver.
Can't seem to find any info on Google so I was hoping someone here might know

Test quotes on a comparison site changing the licence details to see what gets you the best premiums?
IIRC the last time I saw a similar case, it was cheaper to hold a UK licence.I am a mortgage broker.
