Opening/closing date & time:
· Competition opens for entries via PRTS, SMS, red button and online as stated in the Passage Through India show (the “programme”).
· Competition closes for entries via PRTS, SMS and red button at 5.00 p.m. as stated in the programme.
· Competition closes for entries online via the www.itv.com website no less than 3 working days after the closing date and time for entries via PRTS, SMS and red button.
Competition draw date:
Within no more than one week of the closing date and time for all entries.
Method & cost of entry:
· PRTS Phone - call 0901 29 30 800 and follow instructions; up to 6 entries per phone number. Entrants who enter twice from the same phone number will be invited to stay on the line on their second call to enter the competition a third time without additional charge. The entrant’s third entry must be made on the second call from that phone number. This can be repeated twice to reach the 6 limit. Each call costs no more than £1.03 from BT landlines.
· SMS text – send a SMS text to 83000 with A, B or C to indicate your answer to the question; up to 6 entries per phone number. SMS entrants will receive a SMS reply message acknowledging their SMS entry and inviting them to enter the competition via SMS a second time using the same mobile number to receive an additional entry into the competition without charge. Entrants who then send a second SMS text with their answer to 83000 by the competition closing date and time will be entered into the draw three (3) times for a chance to win the prize. This can be repeated twice to reach the 6 limit. Each of the SMS entrant’s first two (2) SMS text entries costs £1.00 plus one standard network rate message.
· Red Button – Sky and Virgin Media viewers press the red button on their remote control; up to 6 entries per phone number. Each red button entry costs no more than £1.03.
· Online – go to www.itv.com and follow the instructions; up to 6 entries per phone number.
Prize:
The prize includes:
· A consecutive 14-night trip for the winner and a companion to India (subject to availability).The prize includes return economy flights with from any London airport to India, return transfers by private car to and from all airports or train stations, any required domestic transfers within India and hotel accommodation, on a bed and breakfast basis, based on two people sharing a twin or double room. The prize must be booked and taken up no later than 31 March 2012. Blackout dates include departures between 6 December 2011 and 4 January 2012 (inclusive). The prize also includes all excursions, entrance fees and local English speaking tour guides as are agreed between the prize provider and the winner; and
· A cheque for £2,000 (two thousand pounds).
The winner’s companion must be aged 10 or over and the winner and their companion will require a full valid passport and visa to travel to India. Passports must be valid to travel with a minimum of six (6) months.
It is the responsibility of the winner to (i) organize visas for the travelling party; however any visa application costs will be covered by the prize provider (ii) ensure that the travelling party is adequately insured including without limitation covering overseas medical costs, and (iii) ensure that the travelling party adheres to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions as set out by the prize provider.
