Hi,
Many a year ago I had to go insolvent - soldiered through and completed the IVA. I know my credit rating is ok now for various reasons but that isn't the issue.
I was looking at the M&S card as it has 15months 0% on purchases- however, looking at the t&c's, i believe that it is 'run' by HSBC. Now HSBC were one of creditors back in the day - so is there any point in myself applying?
Thanks for any advice.

With an IVA, the 6 year thing starts from when the IVA was agreed, so if OP completed his IVA in Oct 2009, and assuming the IVA ran the full 5 years, OP's credit report should be clear now, as all the defaults should have dropped off (provided all the defaults pre-dated the acceptance of the IVA, which they should!)Debt free and staying that way! :beer:0
