Hi all
Hope someone can help with what is becoming a very frustrating problem.
I have an email addre ss (me@mydomain.info) pointing at gmail. I can use it without any problems on the web but I would like to use Outlook 2000.
As far as I can tell everything is set up correctly but I get messages saying that the security certificate doesn't match or the sender isn't recognized.
I am using 465 as the outgoing port and have tried both 993 and 995 as the incoming one (hence the differing messages)
Am I missing something simple or is itdown to the email address not having gmail.com.
Any pointers would be much appreciated.
Thanks

My gmail works on Outlook (but 2007 not 2000). I use ports 995 and 587 and TLS as the type of encrypted connection. My address entry in the account setup has gmail.com at the end.0

Thanks for the reply giraffe69
After posting, I deleted the address (for the fourth time) and re-entered the details exactly as before - all working now.
Strange, but I'm well pleased.0
